Exam and X-rays
The first general dentistry visit. We look at the whole mouth, take the basic X-rays that are needed, and tell you what we found with the images in front of you. The 3D scan is separate.

What the visit covers
- A full examination of teeth, gums and bite.
- Whatever X-rays your case calls for. They are not taken “as routine”: they are taken when they tell us something.
- A gum check, which is where half the serious problems start.
- Oral cancer screening: checking the tongue, the floor of the mouth and the neck. It takes two minutes and is not charged separately.
Why the X-rays are needed
Between one tooth and the next, and below the gum, nothing shows to the naked eye. A cavity between molars can spend two years growing without hurting and without being visible. The X-ray is what shows it while a filling still fixes it.
If you have recent X-rays from another practice, bring them: if they are usable, we do not repeat anything.
What happens if there is nothing to do. We tell you so and you go home. We are not going to find you work just because you came in.How it will go, visit by visit
And if something turns up
We hand you a plan in writing, ordered by priority, so you know what is pressing, what can wait and what each thing costs. You take it home. Nothing has to be decided that day.
If your case is about implants, the 3D scan assessment is separate and free of charge. This visit is the general dentistry one.
